Anthony Rizzo is used to crushing meatballs in batting practice, sending 70 mph fastballs into orbit around the Wrigley Field bleachers before each game.

But when MLB Fan Cave got their hands on Rizzo, they wanted to see how the young slugger would fare against actual meatballs.

Seriously.

Rizzo, who played for Team Italy during the 2013 World Baseball Classic, took some batting practice where he unloaded on a bunch of saucy balls of meat. (h/t SBNation for the GIF)

It looks like an absolute blast. I'm insanely jealous.

Hopefully they got to at least enjoy eating some of those meatballs after they were done.
