Only a Cub stands between Clayton Kershaw and the best pitching performance in MLB history after the Dodgers starter tossed a no-hitter Wednesday night:

 

 

For as long as we live, Kid K's 20-strikeout game in 1998 will likely be the most dominating pitching performance in Major League Baseball history.

If Kershaw - who only allowed a baserunner on an error and had 15 strikeouts - is still a couple Game Score points behind Wood, it's hard to see anybody topping the Cubs icon.
