The Cubs dealt Darwin Barney to the Los Angeles Dodgers for a player to be named later earlier this week, and they have finalized that trade:
The Dodgers optioned Darwin Barney to Albuquerque and completed their trade for Barney, sending Great Lakes P Jonathan Martinez to the Cubs.— Los Angeles Dodgers (@Dodgers) July 30, 2014
Martinez is a Venezuelan native who just turned 20 last month. The right-hander is 7-5 with a 3.47 ERA and 1.21 WHIP in 19 starts with Class-A Great Lakes.

He is 21-12 in his career with a 3.44 ERA, 1.23 WHIP and 243 strikeouts in 306 innings spanning 67 appearances (48 starts).
If he stays on the same level, Martinez would head to the Kane County Cougars.
Interesting that the Dodgers would send Barney down to Triple-A Albuquerque immediately after acquiring him in a deal. It could just be to get him a few at-bats in a lower-profile situation, since he hasn't seen any MLB action since July 19.
