According to reports, first base coach Dave McKay is leaving Chicago to join the Arizona Diamondbacks coaching staff:

McKay has been one of the most respected coaches in the game and has spent the last 25 seasons in the major leagues, first with the Oakland Athletics and then followed legendary manager Tony La Russa to St. Louis, where the two made their home through th 2011 season.

McKay, 63, spent the last two seasons on the North Side, where he helped get through to Alfonso Soriano, who improved his outfield defense at age 36 last season.
