Want to know what a renovated Wrigley Field will look like?
Well, the Cubs are hoping it'll look something like the updated renderings they released on Tuesday.
For those who have been following the Wrigley renovation saga, the new renderings are distinctly different than the old. For those who need a refresher, the new images contain a lot more outfield signage than previous renderings, which still included a significant increase in signage from what's currently at Wrigley Field, as well as a jumbotron.
The increase in outfield signage is very noticeable and comes in the wake of the recent comments from Cubs owner Tom Ricketts regarding the team's relationship with the rooftop owners on the opposite sides of Waveland Avenue and Sheffield Avenue.
The updated renderings also illustrated a lot of what the Cubs hope to accomplish around the ballpark as far as increased fan amenities next to and inside Wrigley Field, as well as new amenities for Cubs players.
