The Cubs head into this upcoming week following a series loss to their NL Central rival St. Louis Cardinals, and now David Kaplan and Todd Hollandsworth are getting you ready with this week's Cubs Road Ahead, presented by Chicagoland and NW Indiana Honda Dealers.

The Cubs will head into Yankee Stadium on Tuesday night to get a firsthand look at the pitcher they missed out on in free agency.

Masahiro Tanaka, who is sporting a 3.21 ERA with a 18/1 K/BB ratio, will oppose Cubs starter Jason Hammel in the series opener.

"They should be excited, this is a great opportunity for the Cubs," Hollandsworth said. "You get an opportunity to walk into Yankee Stadium and take in all the history. You get a look at Tanaka and you get to measure yourself a little bit."

Following their series with the Yankees, the Cubs welcome the Cincinnati Reds to Wrigley Field. The Cubs scheduled starters for the series are Jeff Samardzija, Carlos Villanueva and Edwin Jackson. The Reds have yet to release their pitching schedule for the series.
