The Cubs head into this upcoming week following a strong series against the NL Central rival Milwaukee Brewers, and now Kip Lewis and Todd Hollandsworth are getting you ready with this week's Cubs Road Ahead, presented by Chicagoland and NW Indiana Honda Dealers.

Jeff Samardzija (0-3) is still looking for his first win despite a 1.98 ERA through six starts, and Monday against his crosstown rival, the White Sox, he'll face another starter who knows a thing or two about no decisions in Jose Quintana.

Samardzija has thrown quality starts in all but one of his outings -- and was one out away from a sixth straight last week against the Reds -- but has not received much run support to help him through those decisions. In his three losses he's allowed five earned runs in 19.2 innings (a 2.74 ERA). In five career starts against the White Sox, Samardzija is 1-2 with a 1.80 ERA. His one win was a complete game shutout, which he accomplished last year in late May. He struck out eight and needed just 108 pitches to get rid of the White Sox at U.S. Cellular Field.

See what Kip Lewis and Todd Hollandsworth had to say about Samardzija and the upcoming Crosstown series in this week's Look Ahead.
