Cubs sending out celebrities to throw first pitch during homestand

After a successful road trip, the Cubs return home on Friday afternoon to begin a 10-game homestand.

Throughout the week, the Cubs will wear throwback uniforms, have promotional giveaways and entertainment that will mirror the 1950s as part of the season-long Wrigley Field 100 celebration.

And the homestand will feature an impressive list of celebrities and former players to throw out the ceremonial first pitch:

-Comedian Chelsea Handler from E!'s "Chelsea Lately" on Saturday, June 21.

-Former Cubs third baseman Kevin Orie on Sunday, June 22.

-English musician Sting on Monday, June 23.

-Talent from NBC hit shows "Chicago Fire" and "Chicago P.D." on Tuesday, June 24.

-Chef Graham Elliot on Wednesday, June 25.

-Former Cubs outfielder Bobby Dernier on Thursday, June 26.

-Singer Kristian Bush from the country group Sugarland on Friday, June 27.

-Former Cubs outfielder George Altman on Saturday, June 28.
