The Cubs are known for their famous fans.
Vince Vaughn, Bill Murray, Eddie Vedder, Tom Morello, John Cusack. The list goes on and on. And, within the past 24 hours, two more celebrities have been added to that list.
First it was Texas A&M quarterback Johnny Manziel, the Heisman Trophy winner otherwise known as Johnny Football, sporting a Cubs hat in a picture that went viral Friday morning. The picture spread mostly thanks to Manziel's donning of a retro Atlanta Falcons Brett Favre jersey, but you can't help but notice the Cubs cap. It makes you wonder if Manziel is the first to attempt the Cubs hat-Favre jersey combo, considering Brett Favre and Chicago haven't historically mixed.
Then, it was Ice Cube. Yes, the rapper/actor is getting in on the Cubs celebrity action, too, along with fellow actor Kevin Hart. The two stopped by Wrigley Field on Friday and got these personalized jerseys.
Think Ice Cube will write a Cubs-themed rap to go along with Vedder's song about the Cubs one day going all the way?
