MLB Network announced on Tuesday afternoon they have hired former Cubs pitcher Ryan Dempster as an analyst.
Dempster, who has been a guest on MLB Tonight and Intentional Talk with Chris Rose and Kevin MIllar, will make his debut on Wednesday, April 23 live from Wrigley Field's 100th Anniversary celebration during High Heat with Christopher Russo at 12:00 p.m. and Intentional Talk at 4:00 p.m.

In nine years with the Cubs, Dempster had a 67-66 record with a 3.74 ERA in 374 games. He also notched 87 saves with Chicago. Dempster, a two-time National League All-Star, was the Cubs' nominee for the Roberto Clemente Award for community service in 2006 and 2008.
Dempster last appeared with the Red Sox in 2013, helping the team capture the World Series by closing out Game 1 against the St. Louis Cardinals.
