So Kris Bryant is in Triple-A. Next stop Wrigley, right?

Not so fast.

While a call-up to the big leagues is the next step in Bryant's development, don't look for it to happen anytime soon.

As David Kaplan says, "there's a better chance that [CSN anchor] Luke Stuckmeyer is playing at Wrigley in September."

Why? It's simple - money and team control.

"There is ZERO chance that Kris Bryant will start his service-time clock and play for the Chicago Cubs this September," Kaplan said in CSN's Buy or Sell segment. "In fact, I don't think there's any way that he makes the Opening Day roster [in 2015].

"I'll bet that you see him sometime mid-April, so they get him for all of 2015 and six years beyond that, giving them their prime years as they'll have to battle Scott Boras to re-sign him."

Either way, Bryant Watch has officially begun.
