When the Cubs introduced Clark, the team's new mascot, earlier this year, the backlash was swift and loud..

You can now count legendary "Wheel of Fortune" host Pat Sajak among those who are not going to be joining Clark's fan club anytime soon.
Sajak, who hails from the Chicago area, had a fellow Windy City native on Wednesday's show and he asked her if she had seen the new Cub mascot.
She replied in kind, saying she hadn't seen Clark and is a Sox fan.
"Oh OK, then you wouldn't," Sajak responded. "If you see the mascot, you'll really be a Sox fan. OK, let's get ready for another toss up, this one is worth $2,000...and he doesn't wear pants! It makes no sense!"
The best part is how, once he brings up Clark, Sajak can't even get back to the game without one final dig.
Cubs chairman Tom Ricketts joined the "Kap and Haugh Show" on 87.7 The Game Wednesday, where he fielded questions on Clark.
"Clark is awesome," Ricketts said. "The fact is, four out of five people love Clark."
This isn't Sajak's first run-in with Clark the Cub, as the host tweeted about the mascot in mid-January, once again baffled by Clark's lack of clothing:
New Chicago Cubs mascot is at my front door. And he's not wearing pants. Not sure what to do.— Pat Sajak (@patsajak) January 15, 2014
