The Cubs got some much needed help from the offense in a back-and-forth game, taking the first of a three-game series against the St. Louis Cardinals.
While the Cubs season hasn't been filled with too many winning moments, Travis Wood continues to battle for his club every time he takes the mound.
MLB games are taking longer than ever and the problem has carried over to the Cubs, where Rick Renteria - the culprit of the slow pace of games, at times - has some ideas on how to fix the issue.
