Cubs

Jon Lester needed to take a leap of faith with the Cubs front office, but in Year 2 in Chicago, it's World Series or bust time for the 32-year-old lefty.
Kris Bryant, Kyle Schwarber and Addison Russell have already showed early promise during their rookie seasons, and the Cubs believe they will continue to produce that kind of big-time talent.
The Cubs understood there would be no sneaking into the playoffs this year with a strong National League. In order to become a World Series favorite, Theo Epstein & Co. had to think big.
