Starlin Castro's name has popped up in trade rumors for more than a year, but a report has the Cubs infielder in a possible deal for Brett Gardner of the New York Yankees.
The Cubs added four players to their 40-man roster on Friday, with catcher Willson Contreras being the headliner.
The Cubs are always searching for diamonds in the rough to potentially become impact relievers in their bullpen and they know they will have to find a few more arms for 2016 and beyond.
