Cubs

The Cubs only had three hits Sunday afternoon, but that's all they needed behind Kyle Hendricks, who tossed 7.1 shutout innings in the Cubs' 2-0 win over the Miami Marlins at Wrigley Field.
When Cubs leadoff hitter Dexter Fowler scores a run, the team is 27-12, a point manager Joe Maddon highlighted during the holiday weekend series against the Marlins at Wrigley Field.
The Cubs had only scored 17 runs in a 10-game stretch prior to yesterday's win over the Marlins, and Jorge Soler's return to the lineup on Sunday should give the North Siders a much-needed boost.
