Travis Wood hit a two-run homer and notched his ninth quality start, but Daniel Murphy's solo homer off Kyuji Fujikawa in the seventh pushed the Mets past the Cubs, 4-3, Sunday at Wrigley Field.
Travis Wood's two-run homer against New York Sunday continued a trend for the Cubs that's seen the team's pitchers lend themselves plenty of run support at the plate.
While Starlin Castro is only 23, he's played four years in the majors but has yet to progress to the level Dale Sveum and the Cubs' front office expect.
