Fire chooses jerseys design finalists

The Chicago Fire announced Saturday morning that the team and The Quaker Oats Company have chosen the five final designs for the #cf97ThirdKit design contest.


The team has asked the fans to submit designs for the jersey. Hundreds of submissions were sent to Fire organization. The first round of voting is open and will run until 11:59 p.m. (CST) on Friday, Sept. 6 at www.Chicago-Fire.com.

The winner will also receive round trip airfare and accommodations for two to attend the Fire’s match against the Portland Timbers for next season, including a private tour of the Adidas campus in Portland, OR for an opportunity to meet with Adidas jersey designers and $500 to spend at the Adidas employee store. All five selected designers will receive two tickets to sit in the team’s Second Star Club for a Fire match.


The winning design will be worn by the players for the anniversary game next season.
