Chicago Fire head coach and director of soccer Frank Yallop issued a statement on Sunday regarding the New England Revolution's acquisition of Jermaine Jones.
Despite scoring an own goal, the Fire overcame that Saturday to draw with Toronto FC. The Fire got a late goal from Quincy Amarikwa to tie things up, leading to their 14th draw of the year
According to a report from Goal USA, USMNT midfielder Jermaine Jones has a agreed to a contract to join the Fire, but talks have hit a snag because MLS won't guarantee he will be allocated to the Fire.
