Bears 2013 schedule takes shape

The Bears made their way through the first half of the 2012 schedule with aplomb, standing at 7-1 at the midpoint. Now they can start work on a new years schedule with an eye toward avoiding a second-half collapse like this seasons.

The season will include facing the Carolina Panthers for the third straight season and the Dallas Cowboys for the third time in the last four years. The Eagles are back on the schedule after skipping 2012 following five straight years facing the Bears.

The Bears have a handful of playoff teams on the schedule: Baltimore, Cincinnati, the winner of Dallas-Washington, plus two games each against division foes Green Bay and Minnesota, both headed to the postseason.
