Martz joins Fox Sports as game analyst

After parting ways with the Bears back in January, Mike Martz has finally found another job in the NFL. This time he won't be calling plays or have any say in a team's offense.

Martz has joined Fox Sports along with ex-NFL fullback Heath Evans as game analysts for the network's coverage this season.

Fox is teaming Martz up with former Bills and Packers defensive back Ron Pitts. This isn't Martz' first go-around in the broadcast booth. He worked as an analyst for the NFL Network in 2009.

The Bears hired Martz in 2010 with expectations of turning the team into an offensive juggernaut, but the team ranked 28th in passing and 22nd in rushing despite playing in the NFC Championship Game.

On Jan. 3, 2012 Martz officially resigned from the Bears due to philosophical differences with head coach Lovie Smith.
