Yet the turning point of the game arguably came when Cutler and wide receiver Devin Hester miscommunicated on a second-quarter pass that was intercepted to set up Green Bays go-ahead score.
Whose fault was it? The onus is usually on the receiver. It was difficult to get a clear answer in this case.
It was a route we had drawn up vs. two-man coverage, Hester said. Give them two steps to get them to bite and then. I guess we just werent on the same page. I guess it was just missed communication on both our parts but it was just a two-man route.
Cutler voiced some responsibility. You know, it came out of my hands. Im responsible, he said. Those things cant happen. Thats how you lose ballgames against good teams like that.
But Cutler wasnt going into the play any deeper.

The Packers turned the interception into seven points. Cutlers two interceptions last Sunday led to 14 points for the Minnesota Vikings.
