NASHVILLE, Tenn. -- The Blackhawks haven't had an easy time with the Nashville Predators this season. Saturday was no exception. But the Blackhawks found a way to eke this one out and clinch a playoff spot.
Patrick Kane had a goal and an assist but it took Brent Seabrook's goal in the third period to secure the Blackhawks' 5-4 victory over the Predators on Saturday night. The Blackhawks claim a playoff berth for the fourth consecutive season and held off a Predators flurry that erased the Hawks' 4-0 lead.
Patrick Sharp and Dave Bolland scored power-play goals for the Blackhawks. Viktor Stalberg added an even-strength goal, his 20th of the season. Andrew Shaw had two primary assists.
