Toews takes contact, no game targeted for return

Jonathan Toews took contact on the ice today but coach Joel Quenneville wasn't pointing to a specific game for the captain's return.

The Blackhawks will have two regular-season games remaining after Sunday night, with their tilt in Minnesota on Thursday and in Detroit on Saturday. And while Quenneville has said he's hopeful Toews will get back in before the regular-season ends, they'll be cautious if necessary.

"Were hopeful (for Thursday) but theres no target," he said. "If hes ready, hell be going. If not, well be patient."

Meanwhile, after clinching a playoff berth for the fourth consecutive season, the Blackhawks are looking to close out this weekend with a victory over Minnesota tonight. Ray Emery will get the start for the Blackhawks -- Corey Crawford has started the last eight in a row -- while Josh Harding goes for the Wild.
