Blackhawks make playoff history

Michael Frolik's goal with 1:26 remaining tied Game 4 at 2-2 and helped make NHL Stanley Cup playoff history. This is now the sixth straight overtime playoff game for the Blackhawks dating back to last year's first-round series vs. the Vancouver Canucks.

Ben Smith scored the game-winner in Game 6 last year to force Game 7 -- which also went to overtime after a late Jonathan Toews goal.

Of course, a late Brent Seabrook goal sent Game 1 of the current series to OT. A Patrick Sharp deflection of a Seabrook shot with five seconds left sent Game 2 to overtime and the Coyotes rallied to force an extra period in Game 3 Tuesday night.

In addition to that, this is only the second time in NHL history a series has gone to four-straight OT games. The record is five in a row in the 1951 Stanley Cup Finals between the Toronto Maple Leafs and Montreal Canadiens.
