The Blackhawks have returned to the Windy City and will host the Blues tonight in their home opener. Catch all the action on Comcast SportsNet, beginning with Blackhawks Pregame Live at 7:00.
Two undefeated teams will face off at the United Center on Tuesday night as the Blackhawks welcome the Blues to Chicago.
The Hawks may only be two games into the season, but they're already noticing that their shortened 2013 campaign is beginning to resemble their 2010 championship season.

"The core's been here for a while; we know each other and how it's going to be," Dave Bolland told CSNChicago.com after the team's matchup in Phoenix. "And with other guys who have come in, we've bonded pretty quick to adapt to what we have to do."

Vladimir Tarasenko

If the Blues' first two games were any indication, the Blackhawks may have their hands full tonight with rookie Vladimir Tarasenko. The 21-year old out of Yaroslavl, Russia has already recorded three goals and two assists against the Red Wings and Predators, leading his team in points.

During the lockout, Tarasenko played in the KHL for St. Petersburg SKA, where he recorded 31 points in 31 games.

Walking the red carpet
The Blackhawks have announced a number of ways the team plans to thank their supporters for sticking with them through the lockout, and part of their fan appreciation launch includes a red carpet ceremony that will be held prior to tonight's matchup.
Beginning at 4:30 this afternoon, the team will arrive at the arena in style and sign autographs for any of today's ticket holders. Signings will take place in the 100 level concourse of the United Center.
