Hossa has his most impressive season with the Hawks

When thinking back on Marian Hossa's 2011-12 season, an initial memory is the horrible hit Raffi Torres delivered to him in the playoffs. But the Blackhawks have reminded fans that this has been his most impressive season in Chicago.

Here are some of the notable statistics Hossa earned this season:

5Number of consecutive goals Hossa scored a goal from October 13-25.
9Number of games he scored at least one point from January 8-24.
12Number of consecutive seasons where Hossa scored 20 goals, tying Vincent Lecavalier for the second-longest streak among current players in the league.
17Number of points earned in December. Hossa scored eight goals, nine assists, and finished the month with a plus-13 rating.
77Number of total points earned in the season. It was his best offensive season since he was with the Atlanta Thrashers in 2006-07. He scored 100 points during that season.
81Number of games Hossa played this season. It was his highest number of matchups during his career with the Hawks.
904Number of total points Hossa has earned throughout his career in the NHL. He's recorded 417 goals and 487 assists. Only eight other current NHL players have also surpassed the 900-point mark.
