The AP Top 25 poll was released Monday afternoon and as expected, no Illinois team made the cut.

However, Indiana was bumped up to No. 1 again, and will make a trip to Champaign to take on the Illini Thursday.

Florida, Michigan, Duke and Kansas round out the Top 5 while several other Big Ten teams -- Ohio State (10), Michigan State (12) and Minnesota (18) -- made the cut.

Wichita State, a mainstay in the Top 25 the last two seasons as a Missouri Valley Conference representative, was knocked from the No. 15 spot and received just 49 votes thanks to a pair of losses at the hands of Indiana State and Northern Iowa. Creighton is the lone MVC school in the Top 25 and faces Illinois State on Saturday.

Notre Dame emerged in the No. 25 spot, buoyed by wins over Villanova and DePaul. The Irish have been bouncing back and forth at the bottom of the rankings all year.
