Chicago is a finalist to host six NCAA championships, the Chicago Sports Commission announced Wednesday.

According to the Chicago Tribune, the United Center, Toyota Park and the UIC Pavilion are all potential destinations to land these events.

Potential events at the United Center include the men's college hockey Frozen Four, hosted by Notre Dame, in 2015, 2017 and 2018 as possibilities, and Women's Division I volleyball, hosted by Loyola, for 2017.

From 2015 through 2018, three other sporting events are possibilities.

The women's Division I lacrosse Final Four could potentially be played at Toyota Park, hosted by Northwestern.

The University of Illinois-Chicago is in the running to host the men's and women's gymnastics at the UIC Pavilion.

The NCAA will make the final announcements by Dec. 11.
