DePaul senior forward Cleveland Melvin is no longer enrolled at the school or part of the men's basketball team, the school announced Monday evening.

Melvin, the program's fifth all-time leading scorer, had been suspended the last four games for undisclosed reasons and will cripple a Blue Demons team that has lost six games in a row and will miss the NCAA Tournament for the 10th straight season.

Melvin finishes his senior season with averages of 16.7 points, 6.4 rebounds, 1.0 assists and 1.6 blocks per game in nearly 33 minutes. He was the Big East Rookie of the Year in 2011.
