OMAHA, Neb. (AP) No. 21 Creighton certainly didn't look like the nation's best 3-point shooting team in the first half against Bradley.

Coach Greg McDermott implored his players to try first to score inside after halftime, and that strategy swung the momentum the Bluejays' way and led to a 75-58 victory Saturday.

Illinois State blows out Southern Illinois

NORMAL, Ill. (AP) Tyler Brown scored 16 points and Jackie Carmichael had 15 points and 11 rebounds as Illinois State recorded its most lopsided victory ever over Southern Illinois, 83-47 on Saturday.

The 36-point margin of victory was the largest in the 143-game series between the two schools, and the fourth-worst loss in Southern Illinois history.

Late game slide dooms Loyola in home loss to UW-Green Bay

CHICAGO (AP) Alec Brown scored 25 points on 10-of-14 shooting, and Green Bay rode a late 10-0 run to 73-65 victory over Loyola of Chicago on Saturday afternoon.

Sultan Muhammad added 14 points for the Phoenix (12-11, 6-4 Horizon League), and Jordan Fouse had eight points and 13 rebounds. Green Bay shot 58 percent from the field, including 6 of 13 from 3-point range.

Nothern Illinois drops a close one at home to Toledo

DEKALB, Ill. (AP) Julius Brown scored 20 points and Toledo used a late rally to pull ahead and hold off Northern Illinois for a 69-64 victory Saturday afternoon.

Brown was 6 of 12 from the field, including three 3-pointers. Matt Smith added 14, and conference scoring leader Rian Pearson had 12, for the Rockets (9-10, 5-3 Mid-American).

UIC snaps a three-game winning streak with a home loss to Cleveland State

CHICAGO (AP) Marlin Mason scored a career-high 22 points and Junior Lomomba added 13 to lead Cleveland State to a 77-66 win against Illinois-Chicago on Saturday night.

Charlie Lee added 11 points and Bryn Forbes 10 for the Vikings (11-12, 3-6 Horizon League), who have won 12 consecutive games between the schools.
