The Northwestern football game on Saturday vs. the Minnesota Golden Gophers will be free of peanuts.

By not selling peanuts at Ryan Field and not allowing them to be brought into the venue on Saturday, the university is giving fans that have allergies a chance to enjoy the game instead of worrying about possible negative reactions, according to the Chicago Tribune.

Northwestern has started powerwashing the almost 50,000 seats in the stadium to eliminate any peanut remains, but severely allergic fans should still take precautions.
