During the Cubs Convention back in early February, the team announced a deal that established a new partnership with Northwestern University.

The school's deal to play at Wrigley Field -- which has been slated to include lacrosse and football games, as well as baseball games -- will kick off next month, as Northwestern announced on Monday that their baseball team will host Michigan on the North Side on April 20.

“We’re so grateful to the entire Chicago Cubs organization for opening the doors to this historic venue and for allowing Chicago’s Big Ten Team to play a game at their beautiful facility,” said Northwestern head coach Paul Stevens. “Whether you grew up in Chicago or California, if you’re a ballplayer, you’ve dreamt of one day playing at Wrigley Field, one of the iconic sporting venues in the world. Northwestern and Michigan will get that chance on a very special night and we're all looking forward to the occasion.”

Wildcat fans are welcome to make their way to the ballpark early as the team holds batting practice two hours before the 6:05 game begins.

Tickets will go on sale beginning March 15 at 10:00 a.m. and can be purchased at Northwestern's box office or at Tickets.com.
