Corona, Calif., quarterback Blake Barnett verbally committed to Notre Dame on Sunday, becoming the second member of Notre Dame's class of 2015.

Barnett, rated as a four-star dual-threat quarterback by 247 Sports (he does not have a star rating on Rivals.com), chose Notre Dame over offers from Arizona, Ole Miss and UCLA, among others.
The 6-foot-4, 200-pound Barnett told 247 Sports he planned on committing to Notre Dame for a while leading up to his visit for the BYU game on Saturday.
“It just feels right there,” Barnett told 247 Sports. “Everything that happened when I was there, from meeting the coaches and walking around the school, it felt welcoming and it felt like the place to be. It felt like home for me, and it’s a place that felt ideal for my situation."
Notre Dame has a verbal commitment from 2014 four-star quarterback DeShone Kizer (Toledo, Ohio) and will follow through on the plan to redshirt freshman Malik Zaire, who enrolled in January with a four-star rating to his name as well.
