As Notre Dame deals with depth issues at quarterback, Everett Golson continues to work in San Diego while staying in consistent contact with Irish coaches.
Coach Brian Kelly said he and offensive coordinator Chuck Martin are in contact with Golson about once a week, while a graduate assistant fills the exiled quarterback in on game plans and other points about the team.

The plan Kelly laid out in August for Golson was for him to return to Notre Dame from San Diego around the holidays, and re-enroll in the university for the spring semester.
When asked on Tuesday about Golson, Kelly gave no indication that plan has changed, and said he's good with what Golson's doing right now.
"He's working hard," Kelly said. "He's in a disciplined environment, one I'm very comfortable with."
