Apparently, the Fighting Irish’s pot of gold has found its way to defensive tackle recruit Matt Elam’s mailbox.

On Wednesday, the four-star 2014 Fighting Irish target opened up his mailbox to find an absurd 262 letters from Notre Dame’s athletic department.

Receiving insane amounts of letters in a single day isn’t anything new for Elam. Earlier in the year, he received 182 letters from Kentucky in a single day.

Elam is ranked as the second best player in the state of Kentucky and is the 18th best defensive tackle in the nation, according to Rivals. He recently listed his favorite schools, which are Notre Dame, Kentucky and Alabama. He plans to make a decision during the Under Armour All-American game on January 4th.

Sending ridiculous amounts of letters has become a trend in college football recruiting. Kentucky quarterback commit Drew Barker once received 115 hand-written letters from the Wildcats in a single day. In 2012, Alabama sent Alvin Kamara 105 letters that arrived in his mailbox on the same day.

Check out the photo below from Elam’s Twitter account of all the letters he received today.
