Notre Dame has moved into sole possession of first place in all-time winning percentage among college football teams.
Following the team’s victory over Rutgers in the Pinstripe Bowl and Michigan’s blowout loss to Kansas State in the Buffalo Wild Wings Bowl on Saturday, the Irish have moved into the No. 1 spot.
Notre Dame is now 874-305-42 all-time with a winning percentage of .733 and Michigan falls to 910-321-36 all-time with their winning percentage at .732. The teams that follow these two historic programs are Boise State, Oklahoma, Ohio State, Alabama, USC and Nebraska.
