Homecoming might not be the same for Irish fans for years to come.

The University of Notre Dame offered a football scholarship to California four-star wide receiver Cordell Broadus Thursday afternoon.

Broadus is the son of rapper/reggae singer Snoop Lion, formerly known as Snoop Dogg.

The offer was announced on the Twitter account of Diamond Bar High School football coach, Ryan Maine, Broadus’ coach.
