Ty Isaac was granted his release from USC this week to attend a college closer to his hometown of Joliet, making Notre Dame appear a likely candidate for the five-star running back.
Prior to choosing USC, Isaac said Notre Dame was one of the top universities he was considering. But he won't be heading to South Bend as he told the Tribune that Notre Dame is "a team I can't talk to" according to the conditions of his release from USC.
According to the report, that could change. But for now, Isaac seems to be headed in the direction of a Big Ten school.
