Notre Dame and BYU will play the second game of six agreed-upon games Saturday, and according to the Salt Lake Tribune Irish AD Jack Swarbrick intends to schedule the other four.

Fulfilling deals struck before Notre Dame agreed to play five ACC opponents a year has been a challenge for Swarbrick, who intends to keep rivalries with Navy, Stanford and USC on the Irish schedule. Michigan isn't on Notre Dame's schedule past 2014, and there's doubt about the future of Notre Dame's series with Michigan State and Purdue.

Swarbrick, though, told the Salt Lake Tribune he doesn't see BYU being on the chopping block.

"Our interest long-term is to find ways to continue to play BYU," Swarbrick said. "I am hopeful we can do that."

A key selling point when BYU football went independent was that six-game series with Notre Dame, with four games played in South Bend and two in Provo. The final four games of the series have yet to be scheduled.
