Sept. 22 - @ Batavia

Sept. 29 – @ Bartlett

Oct. 6 - Larkin

Oct. 13 - Elgin

Oct. 20 - @ Streamwood

Biggest storyline: Can the Saints make another deep run in Class 8A?

Names to watch this season: Senior QB/DB Clayton Isbell, Senior RB/LB Nick Garlisch and Junior FB/LB Justin Jett

Biggest holes to fill: The Saints will need to reload up front, as junior Justin Hill (6-foot-3, 265 pounds) is the lone returning starter on the offensive line.

EDGY's Early Take: The Saints posted an impressive season in 2016. And sure, they will need to reload a bit, but the overall core is still very strong for the 2017 season. If the Saints can build up on the offensive and defensive lines, they could win the Upstate 8 River and make a strong run in Class 8A again this season.

Biggest storyline: Can the Warriors make it back-to-back playoff appearances?

Names to watch this season: senior LB Luke Begrowicz, senior QB Pat Breisch

Biggest holes to fill: The Warriors will bring back a ton of experience this fall (15 returning starters), but will need to reload on the defensive line.

EDGY's early take: Zunkle was able to lead the Warriors back to the postseason for the first time since 2007. While the Fox Valley Conference will be as stacked as ever at the top, look for the Warriors to again challenge all comers in 2017.

Biggest storyline: Can the Shamrocks reload under first year head coach Adan Guerra?

Names to watch this season:  Senior RB Joey Solak Senior WR/DB Joey Lombardi

Biggest holes to fill: The Shamrocks will look to reload this summer in the offensive skills department and in particular at quarterback with the graduation loss of QB Anthony Mazzenga from a season ago.

EDGY's Early Take: New head coach Adam Guerra takes over a Shamrocks roster that welcomes back 9 returning starters (5 offense 4 defense) and a very good underclassmen group. Look for St. Pats to focus on being a bit more consistent this fall after getting off to a 4-0 start in 2016, then only to lose it's last 5 games of the season.
