CSN Preps Basketball Power Rankings: No. 21 Bogan

Share

School: Bogan

2015-16 record: 20-8, 6-4 in the Public League Red-South

Postseason results: Lost to Morgan Park, 73-59, in the Class 3A St. Laurence Sectional Final

Players to watch: Senior Trevon Abdullah transferred into Bogan from Las Vegas and the former Nevada commit is a talented wing who should immediately make an impact. Morgan Park transfer Cortez Bailey and sophomore Jeremiah Washington should help in the backcourt.

Why they're in the Power Rankings: The Bengals are filled with new faces, but head coach Arthur Goodwin has re-loaded with transfers as this team has plenty of size and athleticism to still be a factor in the city. Bogan is a bit of a wild card because of all of the new pieces but Goodwin knows what to do with talent.

Did you know? Bogan remains one of the most underrated Public League programs as they've won five regional titles, a sectional title and a city championship since 2010.
