Postseason results: Lost to Rockford Auburn, 58-39, in the Class 4A Rockford Sectional Semifinal.
Players to watch: Senior center Cameron Krutwig is committed to Loyola after a huge junior season in which he averaged 17.7 points, 12.7 rebounds, 2.5 assists and 2.6 blocks per game. Senior Mason Materna is another returning contributor from last season along with juniors Nikolas Balkcom and Ryan Phillips.
Why they're in the Power Rankings: Jacobs continues to be the class of the Fox Valley as Krutwig is the area's best center. Krutwig is surrounded by experienced returnees and his outstanding passing ability makes for a team that can move the ball.
