Biggest storyline: Can the Wolves repeat and win back-to-back state titles?
Names to watch this season: Senior QB Samson Evans (Iowa), senior OL Jeff Jenkins (Iowa), senior LB Joe Perhats
Biggest holes to fill: The Wolves will need to fill in a few spots in the secondary as well as at linebacker this summer.
EDGY's Early Take: Schremp and the Wolves had a terrific state title run and several key players are back this fall. Evans will again cause havoc in running the Wolves double wing offense and will rely on three starting offensive linemen, including Iowa verbal commit Jenkins (6-foot-4, 280 pounds). The Wolves defense also has experience back and both senior LBs Jacob Ommen and Perhats are speedy sideline-to-sideline hitters and leaders. The Wolves biggest challenge for now is a rough first two weeks of the season hosting Cary-Grove on Friday then traveling to Huntley in Week 2.
