CSNChicago.com is your top destination on the road to the 2014 high school football season. CSN preps contributor “Edgy” Tim O’Halloran will take a look at 100 teams in 100 days, counting down to the opening night kickoff on August 29th.

School: Naperville Central

Head coach: Mike Stine

Assistant coaches: Mike Ulreich - Defensive Coordinator Tim Boecker - Defensive Backs Eric Novak - Linebackers Mark Anderson - Defensive Backs Noah Fitzenreider - Defensive Line Pat Watson - Offensive Line & TE's/Run Game Coordinator Adam Freed - Running Backs Pete Kramer - Wide Receivers Jim Rexilius

Biggest storyline in 2014: Can the Redhawks reload and defend its 2013 Class 8A state title? Central graduated some serious impact players from the 2013 state title team, none as important as Illinois State bound QB Jake Kolbe, plus all five starting offensive linemen from a season ago.

Name to watch: Senior LB Bobby McMillen, who is the son of LA Kiss head coach Bob McMillen is verbally committed to Iowa State.

Biggest hole to fill: Quarterback and the offensive line.

EDGY's early take: If the Redhawks can find answers at both quarterback and on the offensive line, Central has a great chance at making a deep run again in 2014. The offensive skills are a strength with senior RB Kevin Clifford, senior WR Mike Kozlow plus junior WR Emmanuel Ragumba.
