CSNChicago.com is your top destination on the road to the 2014 high school football season. CSN preps contributor “Edgy” Tim O’Halloran will take a look at 100 teams in 100 days, counting down to the opening night kickoff on August 29th.

School: Marian Central Catholic

Head coach: Ed Brucker

Assistant Coaches: Dirk Stanger Tim Lalor Terry Stanger Jack Gilleland Pat Brunken Kevin Conway

Biggest storyline in 2014: How will the Hurricanes fare in the East Suburban Catholic Conference in 2014?

Name to watch: Marian Central Catholic senior QB Billy Bahl (6-foot-4, 215 pounds) gave Miami of Ohio his verbal commitment earlier this summer. Bahl, who has a big time arm and physical tools could become the steal of the Class of 2015.

Biggest Hole To Fill: The Hurricanes will need to find some depth this summer. Playing in the East Suburban Catholic Conference will test the Hurricanes overall numbers.

EDGY's Early Take: The timing for MCC to enter the East Suburban Catholic Conference couldn't be better for the 2014 season. The Hurricanes welcome back 13 starters (8 offense 5 defense) and if MCC can stay healthy they could be a state title contender again in Class 5A.
