Biggest storyline in 2014: Can the Mustangs make some noise in its last season in the Upstate Eight conference?

Name to watch: Senior offensive linemen Brett Boddy (6-foot-4, 295 pounds) is an experienced, physical kid who will play at the college level on Saturday's next fall.

Biggest hole To fill: The Mustangs will have experience (13 returning starters), but will they have enough depth to navigate a rough schedule?

EDGY's early take: With 13 starters back in the fold, confidence is high at Metea Valley. The key for the Mustangs is getting out of the gates with a few early, non-conference wins. If they can get off to a good start they have a shot at a state playoff bid.
