Biggest storyline in 2014: Can the Lancers' experienced returning starters make the difference in 2014? Lake Park will welcome back 13 players including eight starters back on offense.
Name to watch: Senior DB Antonio Shenault is a major D1 recruit with track speed. Shenault will play on both sides of the ball in 2014.
Biggest Hole To Fill: The Lancers welcome back just one starter in the defensive secondary in Shenault.
EDGY's Early Take: Lake Park took its lumps in 2013 in making the transition into the DuPage Valley conference. Lake Park now knows what it takes to play at the DVC level. The schedule is not easy, including having to play Wheaton North twice this season because of the DVC schedule imbalance with the departure of West Aurora and Glenbard East (to the Upstate 8).
