CSNChicago.com is your top destination on the road to the 2014 high school football season. CSN preps contributor “Edgy” Tim O’Halloran will take a look at 100 teams in 100 days, counting down to the opening night kickoff on August 29th.

School: Streamwood

Head coach: Mark Orszula

Assistant Coaches: Eric Fulara, Dave Ellett, Don Guindon, Kenton Evans, Nick Baird, Bill Peach

Biggest storyline in 2014: Can the Sabres make some noise in the Upstate 8 River? Streamwood has 14 returning starters and some firepower in the right places.

Name to watch: Senior QB Max Draper (6-foot-5, 200 pounds) is a veteran signal caller with size and real potential.

Biggest Hole To Fill: The Sabres have experience, but will they have overall numbers? Like many teams, an injury or two could spell trouble for Streamwood this fall.

EDGY's Early Take: Streamwood should be capable of scoring some points in 2014, yet keep an eye on those early results. If the Sabres defense can improve upon a rough 2013 season (408 points allowed in nine games in 2013) this team could surprise.
