School: Wheaton North
Head coach: Joe Wardynski
Assistant Coaches: Dan Korntheuer, Paul Connor, Joe Drover, Evan James, Will Kadera, Jeff Butikofer, Colin Murphy, Mike Oleszek
Biggest storyline in 2014: Can the Falcons reload in 2014? Gone is a standout senior group which included Northwestern bound QB Clayton Thorson.
Name to watch: Senior TE Jake Heggeland is a big and athletic target for the Falcons offense in 2014.
Biggest Hole To Fill: Wheaton North graduated 16 starters from one season ago. The defense was hit especially hard with just senior LB Nick Singleton and senior DB Ben Moore returning.
EDGY's Early Take: The talent and numbers are never in short supply in Wheaton, yet losing the likes of QB Clayton Thorson is always hard felt. Senior QB JP Forcucci might not have the pedigree as his predecessor, yet Forcucci is a name to watch as well as a big key for North.
